[Intro] Running.

The sport I have dedicated my life to is running. It is a passionate endeavour of mine and one where I am constantly learning and evolving.

Since my first tracked run in 2009, running has become a way of life for me. I started running as a means to keep fit, think and be one with my mind and body, but it grew on me the more I did it and now it is has become my jolt of energy to start a day, therapy after a hard day’s work or just to celebrate and enjoy moments.

No matter what’s going on in my life. Running has the power to give me a fresh perspective on what matters most. Runners high is the best high ever and it does help you relax and clear your mind.

Running can be a fashionable sport too! I love beautiful running gear (they make up a large part of my wardrobe!) I try to find the most stylish yet functional kit. So I test lots of Nike and Puma gear as well as various other brands and will be telling you my honest opinion on them here.

Whether it's for fun, training for an event or personal record. I hope that you're encouraged to start running more and find your inspiration to simply run. My different music playlists are a highlight and source of variety. There is something to be said for consistency.  My main goals are to keep on going running and not injuring myself as running has somehow become such an integral part of my life. The challenge for me is not necessarily in mileage, but the different terrains that I encounter -naturally pretty flat parts of Zaria and Kano, to more hilly roads of places like Enugu, and Ibadan, and cities around the world where I have visited, worked, lived and ran.

There’s so much about running and the community to explore that I have created this blog to share with others my adventures, tips and thoughts on why running is so important to me.
